If you had to improve one of the following for your business… what would it be?
1. Web design
2. Logo
3. Print Materials
Selling a product on social media can be a daunting task, no matter if it’s a low or high involvement purchase. We work with companies who sell both, and how we market their products therefore ranges drastically.
From a casual lunch purchase or a decently cheap product you can fit in your hand (low involvement), to one of the biggest purchases you’ll face - your future home (high involvement), how you bring in your buyers is going to be different depending on your product.
For low involvement purchases:
Focus on the ease of the purchase, but the high impact it will have on the consumer. Make it as easy as possible for the target audience to purchase the product on social media/email campaigns. Show the high impact for low cost and remind them of that high impact after so they will return.
For high involvement purchases:
Focus on education of the product, and stellar customer service. Yes, of course, market the heck out of the product itself. But if someone is going to invest a high amount of money, they will do so quicker and easier if your social media highly focuses on customer service, education of the product, and the WHY behind the brand. Try to get as personable as possible.
TIK TOK VS IG REELS FOR YOUR BUSINESS //
Both are similar, so let’s break it down. Which one should you be using for your business and why? Here’s a couple topics to think about before you choose which to spend more time utilizing.
1. Who is your brand’s target audience? - Is your ideal customer younger? If so, we recommend focusing on Tik Tok. 60% of the app’s users are 16-24.
2. Editing feature/length of video - Between the two, its important to know that Tik Tok definitely has more editing features with endless filters and effects. You can also film up to 60 second videos, while reels are a bit shorter maxing at 30 seconds.
3. Sharing opportunities - Yes, on Instagram Reels you can share or send it to a friend. But, on Tik Tok you have the ability of duets, stitches, etc. Let’s say someone with a big following duets your Tik Tok - thats a whole other audience you’re reaching without having to do anything.
4. Caption length - Reels definitely take the lead on this. Without a max character count really, you have a lot of opportunities. You can also add multiple hashtags in your caption. In comparison, Tik Tok only allows you 150 characters.
5. Analytics - This is important for any business, and the more the better. Tik Tok definitely can give you more in depth analytics with a pro account, especially on individual videos.
Overall, we strongly suggest your business to utilize BOTH, but for different reasons. Use reels to stay up to date with brand perception, posting them a few times a week. However, give your brand “color” and more “character” with Tik Tok. On Tik Tok we recommend posting up to 3x a day. Using this tactic along with creating your own twist on current trends could get your business viral on the FYP. One of our favorite examples of a company that has utilized Tik Tok very effectively is with now over 16x the amount of followers on Tik Tok than they have on Instagram.

YOU DON’T NEED A FANCY CAMERA TO PRODUCE KILLER CONTENT.
We aren’t saying to not use nice equipment. Yes, if it’s your everyday profession… invest in nice camera gear to give your clients stellar content. BUT, it’s not completely necessary to be a successful content creator. Here are a few of our thoughts about it:
1. The photo above was taken with an iPhone… On the go, no time to set up the perfect “shot”, but it turned out great!
2. Iphones and smaller cameras sometimes force you to be more “creative”. As you are working on your photography skills, maybe try coming up with cool and unique angles, positioning, and ideas with a camera you already have. THAT is how you improve your skills. The fancy equipment is just the cherry on top once you’ve strengthened your creative eye.
3. More often than you think, a photo really “comes to life” and becomes a “wow” during the post editing process. With changed lighting, highlights, hues, saturations, and selective editing…. You can really make a bad photo look perfect. Use the camera you already have and become a Lightroom master instead… Some may argue that will elevate your content more than anything else 😉

STUDIO PORTRAITS - 3 TIPS
Create high contrast. Have background and clothing be highly contrasting. This creates a great feel with any preset you later place on the photo!
Candid is key!! — we usually like to just turn on music - whatever our client prefers! (Ask them before the shoot so you can already have their fave playlist going on before they get there) Ask the individual or group questions while shooting non stop! Get them laughing and just moving and grooving. Photos turn out best when authenticity shines through.
Simplify everything — all you need is a solid foundation. A lot of times we see people using all these props and plants etc. etc. and it takes away from the power and magic of studio photography.
Tag us in any studio photos we take or send them our way! We love getting to see what magic other creators are making!
