Yesterday we spent the afternoon interviewing Barbara Hines—one of the awesome women who helped set Roe v. Wade into motion. She explained it wasn’t politicians who made it happen—it was a grassroots movement led by students and activists in Austin, TX.

At a time when rights are being rolled back, it’s a reminder that change starts from the ground up.
