But according to T1's Kim “KkOma” Jeong-gyun, one of the most decorated coaches in the history of League of Legends and esports as a whole, this dominance didn’t happen by coincidence.

“It’s mainly probably because esports started from Korea, and overall, we’re the pioneers,” KkOma told Dot Esports in an exclusive interview during Worlds 2025.
