With Lunar New Year right around the corner, if you’re craving bold flavors and perfectly crafted dumplings, Mian and Bao is your next must-visit spot! Specializing in Sichuan and Shanghai cuisine, this Chinese gem brings some serious heat to the Austin dining scene.

Chef Tony Xu is behind the magic, who snagged a Bib Gourmand award for one of his concepts in LA back in 2019. Fun fact, their indoor space was designed using AI tools, blending tradition and tech for a totally unique vibe🤖

We definitely recommend their chile oil dumplings and the soup dumplings which both melt in your mouth. They also have a great fried rice and chicken katsu dish if you are looking for something more🔥
