Sadly our weekend sojourn has rendered us unable to whip up our own concoctions but we're happy to report a great weekend in Austin where we were able to get great concoctions and soft drinks were consumed. It can be tough to throw down the gauntlet of drinking dry but once done it can produce some pretty great results 1) we were able to get gourmet sodas and tonics at great spots; 2) certain bartenders impressed by what we were up to made some fantastic beverages; and 3) almost 50% of the bartenders had us drinking free of charge. Big ups to the Austin culinary community- we were truly impressed and will be back VERY soon.

Out on the town in Austin. A local mixologist heard about what we are doing and treated us to a delightful concoction. Spread the good word of dry cocktails and wonderful things happen.
