Public service has been a hallmark of Newsradio KLBJ during its many decades of service Austin. When citizens need help, the station rallies its listeners to provide time and resources to help those in need. That tradition of public service was recognized in 1994 when the prestigious Crystal Award from the National Association of Broadcasters was awarded to Newsradio KLBJ for its public service.
