Building my big log dream home and I’m glad I started putting up the walls. It is a difficult and long process, but very interesting. It is autumn now, and it rains a lot, but for me it is not a problem, because I have a big temporary roof that protects me from the rain. But as soon as the first snow starts to fall, I will have to dismantle the roof, because it may not withstand the large weight of snow and collapse, but I hope that I will have time to do most of the work before the first snowfalls.

I really love autumn. For me, this is the best time of the year. Therefore, I am full of energy and motivation to continue my work.

If anyone is interested, the size of my house is 6x8 meters

It’s been one year since I laid the first log for the walls of my cabin. And today, I finally finished building the roof.

It’s such a great feeling to know I no longer have to worry about rain getting inside my home.
This year has been full of lessons — I’ve learned so much and gained a lot of hands-on experience building a log cabin from scratch.

Now that the roof is done, I can move on to the next stage with a sense of relief.

Just finished making the bed for the log cabin. The video is out now on YouTube. Everything is handmade from natural materials . The mattress is 100% Swedish wool made by Sandra that I got the pleasure to visit. Everything even down to the threads in the stitches are handmade from natural h**p thread. A one of a kind craft here in Sweden that Sandra does by hand!

To cover my roof, I decided to use bitumen roof shingles, this is a good option for those who decide to cover the roof alone, as it does not require much effort. Now that the roof is ready, I can move on to building inside the log Cabin. In the near future I will start making doors and windows, and then I will start insulating the walls and roof. By winter, I plan to finish the sauna, shower room and a small relaxation room and start new construction. 🏠😀
