Tonight is the last Horti night at Hole in the Wall and my last show of 2025 also! It’s been a super awesome residency, hanging out with old friends and making new ones. I tried a lot of new songs and brought back a lot of old songs with a new energy too. I love hole in the wall - idk abt yall but often for me it’s the bright sun holding things together in the solar system of Austin. Tonight im honored by Beth Chrisman and those SIPA scoundrels who are hopping up for one last set of the year. Huzzah!

So last week during my “Tropical Depression” night - ie playing ukulele and singing sad songs - hole had holiday movies in the background. Despite how awesome buddy hollys “raining in my heart” is, I had to divert for THE scene in Die Hard. The TVs were on mute so I became the inappropriate soundtrack and it became an impromptu mystery science theater with crowd participation. And all were filled with holly jolly cheer.

Updating my interactive EPK - the actual document version has a lot of hyperlinks you can click from your phone or computer. Right now it feels like I just finished my homework, and I mean in computer class learning microsoft office in high school. I meant to sit down for a few minutes and it’s now been a few hours, just saving and redoing it over and over, so I’m glad to have it somewhere I can “turn it in”. Canva rules, and also having all the assets handy from over the years rules as well.
