A sn**ch pull or clean pull is not just a deadlift.

The first pull has a completely different purpose. You’re keeping the shoulders over the bar, sweeping the bar back toward you, clearing the knees, and setting up the second pull.

A deadlift ends at lockout.

A weightlifting pull is setting up everything that comes next.

Different goal. Different positions. Different bar path.
