I see all these influencers recommending AI tools but no honest reviews, so I’m taking one for the team 🤝

I found both Daydream and the GitHub repo using Instagram search keywords “AI video editor”. Both are great but have their limits. My ideal solution is one that edits my CapCut timeline. AI video editors usually export in XML file to continue editing in a video editor software but CapCut requires JSON. I’m going to test out Descript.

The raw video used in this demo is live (see previous Reel) and raw cuts made entirely by Daydream.

I get that scripting is hard and takes time, but at least edit what AI spits out so sounds more natural, like a human aka you wrote it, and blink more

005: Lesson learned - Always test my own products upon receiving them. Mistakes happen. I definitely prefer doing this to slaving away at a desk coding all day.
