Proud to help shine a light on the life-saving work of the Gordon Center at the University of Miami.

This WUWF Public Media feature highlights their Active Shooter Hostile Events training, which teaches law enforcement and EMS how to enter "hot zones" together to deliver immediate care, dramatically cutting response times and saving lives.

It’s powerful to see this kind of training reaching first responders across Florida and beyond.

Love this Reuters piece on the Village of Pinecrest’s innovative peacock program, as well as the guest appearance by Pinecrest resident Marika Lynch! 🦚

Peacocks strutting across lawns, screeching from rooftops, and even attacking their own reflections have become a fixture of daily life in Pinecrest, a leafy suburb of Miami. Now, a unique effort is underway to manage their booming population—through vasectomies. Gabe Singer reports.

I just wrapped another semester teaching Public Relations Strategy Development at , mentoring 30 future PR pros on how to build real, strategic campaigns from the ground up.

From identifying target audiences to writing messaging that sticks, these students got a crash course in what we do every day at . One of my favorite assignments was challenging them to develop PR strategies that reinvent Sweethearts Candy to make the brand relevant year-round and not just on Valentine’s Day. The creativity that came out of this activity was next level.

At Pinzur Communications, we believe in sharing what we know and constantly sharpening our skills along the way. Teaching keeps us evolving, especially with AI, the rise of influencers, and media fragmentation.

We’re proud to have secured coverage of the Gordon Center’s groundbreaking Active Shooter Hostile Events (ASHE) training, which enhances emergency response by allowing fire rescue personnel to work alongside law enforcement in ‘hot zones’ to provide immediate medical aid.

A special thank you to WJHG-TV’s Isabella Benjumea, a Marjory Stoneman Douglas survivor, for her powerful coverage of this life-saving initiative. Though we’re sharing this a bit late, we still wanted to highlight her excellent reporting and the Gordon Center’s incredible work.

When I first moved to Miami, I stayed with my great-great-aunt for a short time until I could find a job. I was also an avid runner at the time.

My aunt was incredibly special to me and had a knack for sharing wisdom that stuck.

One piece of advice has stayed with me over the years:

“Keep on running. One day you’ll get somewhere.”

I thought about her words today as I participated in a Turkey Trot, reflecting on how grateful I am for the life and business I’ve built. But I know I didn’t get here alone.

To my family, my amazing clients, my incredible team, and the many journalists and influencers who have supported us along the way—thank you. Your encouragement, trust, and partnership have made all the difference.

Thank you to everyone who has impacted me in some way or cheered me on as I’ve kept on “running” in pursuit of my path.

Wishing you all a happy and gratitude-filled Thanksgiving! 🦃
