🚨 Carnage on US 36: Cars Damaged from Police Chase Between Ronald Reagan & Raceway 🚨

There are vehicles involved from the police chase at Ronald Reagan Parkway & US 36. Westbound US 36 is completely blocked due to this. The chase ended further east at Raceway & US 36 where more cars were involved.

We have gathered information from the scene that two suspects may have shoplifted ammunition from a local business on US 36 and then fled from police eastbound. They struck multiple cars while fleeing and eventually crashed at Raceway Rd.

A police chase came to an end with a crash at Raceway Rd & U.S. 36. Officers had the driver of the black car at gunpoint. Emergency crews are on scene. We are working on learning more details.

🚨 Working Residence Fire Overnight in Brownsburg 🚨

Fire crews are on scene of a working residence fire at 10285 Butler Dr. in Brownsburg. Avon Fire, Pike Township Fire, and Brownsburg Fire are all responding to the scene.

The fire was reportedly started in the kitchen. Investigators are working to determine the exact cause. All occupants and pets were able to evacuate safely.

🚗 Plans for New 21,000+ sq. ft. Dealership in Avon

The Avon Plan Commission reviewed a proposal for a 21,360 sq. ft. Ray Skillman Automotive dealership at U.S. 36 & S. County Road 900 E. Some design waivers for the building façade and landscaping are included.

The petitioner had requested a continuance to allow more time to revise the building elevations, and staff was supportive of this request. Therefore, the matter remains under review, and no final action has been taken at this time.

Indianapolis police are investigating a deadly shooting that happened early Sunday morning on the city’s northwest side, near the Eagle Creek Airport at Eagle Creek Pkwy & Eagle Highlands Wy.

Just after 2 a.m., officers responded to reports of gunfire. Seven people were shot in total—six men and one woman.

Two adult men were pronounced dead at the scene. Five others were injured, with three listed in critical condition at the hospital. One victim went to a nearby fire station for help, while another showed up at a hospital on their own.

Police say the gunfire happened in a parking lot of a bar. At least one person of interest has been detained as the investigation continues.

🚨 Breaking News – Danville 🚨

A tragic crash happened Thursday afternoon west of Danville when a dump truck slammed into a house. Officials say the driver, a 63-year-old man from Lizton, sadly lost his life in the accident.

The crash took place around 4:20 p.m. near U.S. 36 and County Road 450 West. Investigators believe the truck was heading east when it crossed over the centerline and struck the front of the home.

U.S. 36 was shut down for about an hour and a half while deputies and firefighters worked the scene and began piecing together what led to the crash.
