Hello, the Halloween season has arrived, bringing with it a sense of eeriness. Boo! For those who are interested and have the time, let us assemble to examine and determine the best approach to a complex situation. Here is a story of survival. At the end of this story below, ask a friend to join you in solving this situation.
The story is "Stranded World."
There is a group of 3 young adults traveling to the Zoo in South Carolina. This zoo is 1 hour from their home.
The 3 people in the RV are: June, aged 29, Jeff, aged 28, and Linda, aged 24.
Their mom's house is near the zoo. Her name is Mary. Mary is a 911 dispatcher. Their dad does not live with Mary. He is a police officer. He lives 30 minutes away from the Zoo. His name is Bob.
The Zoo will open at 6 p.m. and close at 11:30 p.m. on Halloween. June and her siblings arrive at the zoo at 8 p.m. .
They read the rules of the Zoo. One main rule is that the zoo is not responsible for falls or anyone getting lost. Each person aged 16 and older is handed a landmark map. Each person is encouraged to keep a cell phone on them and a flashlight. The Zoo is only big enough to hold 150 guests. There are 8 entrance desk workers, 5 security men, and the manager on duty. 2 regular employees are to stroll the park and alert others in the office of any conflicts. They do not walk near the train area. It sits far away from the other events. The 3 siblings decided to walk with a couple and a girl who is only 6 years old. The couple are from their town; however, they are strangers. All 6 people make a decision to walk with food. They all buy snacks and sodas. They know it is a creepy event. The first ride they see as soon as they walk out of the snack shop is the "ghost train." It only holds 10 people at once. They all run to grab a seat on the train. The train has seat belts. Everyone grabs their belts, but 4 people do not. The 6-year-old child, Alley, is told to snap her belt. She does, but it is not fully clasped.
The host of the train is dressed like a clown. He makes jokes and rhymes. The curves are steep, and it goes up a winding cliff. There are plenty of tall trees and rocks below. Each person laughs and sings along with the host. The host keeps water next to him because he has to talk throughout the trip. As the train goes to the 3rd and last level, the host reaches for his water, and it spills. He makes an attempt to grab napkins next to where his water sat.
But his big shoe slides on the water on the floor. The host loses control, and the train runs off the track. The train tumbles to the second level. The lights go out. The phone on the train bursts by tumbling down the hill. The wreck knocks the host out, and he suffers a broken leg. The little girl is thrown out by the trees and lost in its weeds. The 4 people who did not wear seat belts were hurt. They are crawling and searching for their flashlights and phones.
One of the 4 people has a broken arm. No one knows how to call down to the Zoo's office workers. The train ride is supposed to last 20 minutes each run. What should the guests do as a solution for their trauma?
