Nothing builds confidence quite like someone with zero kids explaining how easy parenting should be. šŸ˜‚

My husband after 6 weeks postpartum:

ā€œHow are you feeling?ā€

Translation: ā€œIs it finally game day?ā€ šŸ˜‚

When my baby starts acting like he pays the bills, it’s time for a trip to the jumper.

Aka… Air Jail. šŸš”šŸ˜‚

No bars, no walls, just bouncing and reflecting on his life choices.

My toddler borrowed my phone for 5 minutes.

Now my camera roll is 247 blurry close-ups of nostrils, half a banana, the dog sleeping, and a 12-minute video of the ceiling.

Honestly, I don’t even know who owns this phone anymore. šŸ˜‚

Parents, what’s the weirdest thing you’ve found in your camera roll?

Sleep deprived parents don’t want a vacation, a party, or a date night… we just want uninterrupted sleep

6 weeks after having a baby… and we finally get cleared for ā€œadult time.ā€

We lock the door like we’re about to do something legendary.

Then we proceed like it’s our first time ever… awkward laughs, unsure moves, and a strong realization that we used to be way better at this.

10 minutes later we’re both just proud we stayed awake and didn’t get interrupted.

Romance level: rookie mode activated.

When my toddler grabs my phone and starts pressing stuff … taking picture and recording random stuff.
Does your kid do this too?

Watching my friends without kids out partying with zero worries in the world…

Meanwhile I’m at home celebrating because both kids fell asleep before 9.

Different stages of life… same goal:
trying to survive tomorrow.

love my husband… I really do.

But sometimes…. šŸ˜‚

No one really warns you about parenting.

They don’t tell you about the quiet moments when you’re watching your kids grow and realizing time is moving way too fast. They don’t tell you how exhausted you’ll be… but how your heart will somehow feel fuller than ever.

You learn as you go.
You make mistakes.
You try again the next day.

But every once in a while you see something—like that Coca-Cola commercial—and it perfectly captures what it feels like to be a parent.

Messy.
Beautiful.
Exhausting.
Worth every second. ā¤ļø
