Checking in with you guys!

We are sooo appreciative of the support and momentum generated for Get to Know and we are just getting started!

Big thanks to Karen at Genesis Jiu Jitsu Azle and Martin at Powerhouse Gym Weatherford for taking the time to be our initial guinea pigs as a couple simple fellas like ourselves are bumbling our way through learning how to suck less at podcasting

We have some amazing guests scheduled and we have been receiving some amazing feedback from folks about the stories of Karen and Martin inspired them in some way

Karen is a Jiu-Jitsu Black belt, has a background in MMA, child education, adventure racing, multiple times World's winner and more!

We get to tour the gym in Azle, Tx, and learn a technique from her, and then sit down to GET TO KNOW more about Karen and how she came to own an amazing Jiu-Jitsu gym

Aus Tin and I went to hang with Martin Conquer at Powerhouse Gym Weatherford to tour his gym and look at his pre-work out rice Krispy treats while discussing the somewhat hetero nature of his relationship with Cameron Love

Got into what its like owning a gym, entrepreneurship, Jiu-Jitsu (of course!), his time in the Marine Corps, and more
