Let’s eat Bakersfield! 🍳 We stopped by the grand opening of eggbred_bakersfield at the Marketplace Bakersfield 🥳 It was such a great turnout and they had many freebies for their customers! 🙌

Bakersfield Eats hit the The Kern County Fair to judge some of this year’s FAIR FOOD! 🎡🌭🍗🍕🔥

And we weren’t judging alone! Some other local foodies joined us to taste, judge, and see which fair foods stood out this year. 👀🏆

We had a great time trying everything and sharing the experience with our fellow foodies! It was good to see Bako Eats | Bakersfield Food and Beyond Kern Foodie & NaTesha Kindred Johnson out there with us judging the fair food! 👏😋

Let’s eat Bakersfield! 🍣 We stopped at lovesushi.blue2 with our friends from the Kern County Asian Chamber Kern County Asian Chamber of Commerce 🙌 We tried many delicious rolls including the new hot cheeto roll that is a collab with Ant & Sav’s Hot Cheeto Cravings 🔥

We also got a chance to talk with the owner, Blake, and got the history of his Japanese background 🇯🇵 Make sure you stop by Love Sushi📍2658 Mount Vernon Ave Unit B

Let’s eat Bakersfield!🍦We went to the grand opening of Golden Spoon Bakersfield 🥳 It was a great turnout; so many members of the city and friends stopped by to show their support! 🙌 They gave the first 100 customers got a free mini frozen yogurt and other prizes 🐮✨

Their frozen yogurt is made with real California milk and you can taste the quality 🤌 Their salted caramel frozen yogurt is creamy, rich, and slightly salty, delicious! 😋 Make sure you stop by to support 9000 Ming Ave Suite K4📍

After 30 years in business, Uricchio’s Trattoria Est. 1995 has announced that they have officially closed. ❤️

The longtime Bakersfield restaurant shared the news with the community, explaining that after celebrating 30 years in June 2025, the past year brought hurdles they were unable to overcome.

For three decades, Uricchio’s has been part of Bakersfield’s restaurant community and a place where countless locals have shared meals, celebrations, and memories.

We’re sad to see another longtime Bakersfield restaurant close its doors. Thank you to the Uricchio family and everyone who helped make the restaurant part of Bakersfield for the past 30 years. ❤️
