Helicopter 409 was used to retrieve a patient from an Offroad crash in the Kern County Mountains. That helicopter landed off hwy 58 and the 223 to transfer the patient to an ambulance, and then helicopter Mercy Air 15 landed shortly after to retrieve the patient for transport to a hospital in Bakersfield CA.
