Allow me to share this on MY Platform so nobody gets overly emotional in their feelings…
HULK HOGAN WAS NOT A RACIST!
Using a racial slur doesn’t make you a racist. Running with alleged allegations and false narratives doesn’t make him a racist. 90% of you allow people of different ethnicities to call you the N word using “culture” as an excuse. The infamous recording was taken out of context in my opinion. I heard an angry frustrated father upset because he wanted the best for his daughter. He basically was saying, Damn if you’re going to date a N!99a why choose a thug or average joe? At least choose someone with goals and who has something going for themselves. Not defending his actions by any means, I’m just trying to introduce another perspective for engagement. He made a poor choice of words during the lowest point in his life and career at the time. Behind closed doors that’s how most of them speak about US. Hulk just got caught! He took accountability and apologized for it multiple times But the world doesn’t allow redemption. God forbid we make a mistake. A real racist is known by his close friends and family. Real racist raise their children to be racist and it shows. He was best friends with Mr. T and Dennis Rodman. Real racist would not go out of their way to help elevate or liberate Black Wrestlers such as Booker T or donate to charities linked to black communities etc… This is exactly why we must be cautious with our words, decisions and actions in life because your negative contributions will tarnish and out shine your legacy and positive contributions in life.
