When it comes to wine, most people are familiar with the three main categories: red, white, and rosé. However, did you know that there are many more varieties beyond these popular ones? In fact, there are several lesser-known types of wine that are worth exploring. For instance, orange wine, also known as skin-contact wine, is made by leaving the grape juice in contact with the grape skins for an extended period, giving it a distinctive orange hue. And, believe it or not, there's even blue wine, which gets its color from the anthocyanin pigment found in certain grape varieties. So, the next time you're at a wine tasting or browsing through a wine shop, don't be afraid to venture beyond the usual red, white, and rosé and discover the world of orange and blue wines! 🍷👀
