Join us June 13th for Second Saturday! Everyone is welcome to attend - Free 🙌

Following the general meeting, stay for our special Board Appreciation Potluck — Bring a Dish!
📍 1607 19th Street, Bakersfield

Then around 11 AM, Art Sherwyn will delight us with a special presentation:

“Making Art Is a Lifelong Journey”

Making art is one of the few professions in which we can continue to grow and improve with age. Yet the artistic path is often lined with hurdles, challenges, and creative walls. It is within those walls that growth and learning take place.

In this presentation, Art Sherwyn explores how artists can interact with those challenges and make the most of what they have to offer. He will share ideas and perspectives for keeping your artwork fresh, your creativity growing, and your artistic spirit motivated. Art will also discuss how artistic play promotes growth, discovery, and continued learning for artists at every stage of the journey.

Hope to see you there!
