It was pure magic that February afternoon at the Blue Front Cafe when we were recording Rose Hill, the brilliant album from mike munson when Mike and Libby Rae Watson/Musician started recording an instrumental piece and Jimmy "Duck" Holmes walked in, pulled up a chair in front of a live room mic and started singing Broke & Hungry. Mike and Libby immediately knew this was one of those unexpected moments that create something unique and unexpected - something you just can't plan. Libby turned her head with an excited expression as if she was asking, "Are you hearing this?" Thankfully, we captured it all and Mike made it a track on the album so everyone can enjoy it.
