This is very kind and I think we should all consider coming together to light candles for this Festival of Lights. The Jewish community is hurting and needs our support.
The only thing that can get rid of darkness is light 💗
Will share my candle lighting this week too!

Tonight, and in the days ahead, we hold the Jewish community close.

For eight nights of Chanukah, Jewish families around the world place light in their windows, it’s a tradition carried through generations, symbolising resilience, hope, and faith.

Tonight, I light a candle in solidarity with the Australian Jewish community and my Jewish brothers and sisters around the world.

Because when antisemitism and hatred raise their ugly head, we do not look away.

We choose to stand together, confronting the darkness with light.

In sadness, let us look for happiness. 🕎✡️🕊

Very sad to lose this friend and Rotarian of many years, Ziggy. He was so passionate about serving veterans and about his family, and was a fixture at all of our district events over the years. I am blessed to have known him. Rest in peace friend ❤️🤍💙

This weekend the holiday preparations continued with lots of hard work, including putting up this giant tree, driving in the snow, and wrapping lots of gifts. Had breakfast with our CNY President crew - our first with President Nominee Designate Joe! Our server at Nesticos Too was the best and she snapped this selfie with us when we asked her to take a group shot. Feeling waves of holiday spirit and holiday stress. Last full week of work for 2025 this week! We got this! CNY Rotary

I know we can be desensitized to it here in America because gun violence is in the news daily, but it’s very different in other places in the world. This is not only a shocking attack, but antisemitic terrorism, which must be condemned strongly. Peace is not just the absence of war, but includes being able to live, love, worship and work freely.
Thinking of the victims at Brown as well. 😔

I'm shocked, sad and angry at the terrible shooting event that's happened at Bondi Beach this evening and it seems to have resulted in multiple fatalities. 😢

This kind of thing doesn't happen in Australia and shouldn't happen! We need peace now more than ever. My heart goes out to those who have been caught up in this senseless act.

Be careful and patient!

Plows do travel slowly for a reason - and it’s not to ruin your day.

By traveling slower, the blade slices through snow perfectly, the salt spreads exactly where it’s needed, and big chunks of snow and ice don’t rocket off the chute with damaging force.

So, the next time you’re “stuck” behind one, just remember: They’re not in your way - They’re clearing the way - so you can get home safe.

Loved this float from our Parade of Lights this year. It played music from the movie and had a snow machine! Beautifully done!
