I made the local Rotary news 🤩

The Leader's Abstract is a relatively new podcast about all things leadership, hosted by New Hartford Rotarian Jeremy Rutter. He recently hosted our immediate past CNY Rotary President Lizzy Martin on an episode to talk about volunteer leadership and our recent unification process in becoming CNY Rotary.

Topics covered include:
• Leading organizational change
• The challenges of volunteer leadership
• Women and young professionals in leadership roles
• The future of Rotary and civic engagement

When sharing with his own club, Jeremy said, "Lizzy is an amazing speaker and really nails what it means to be a Rotarian, and what Rotary means to the communities we serve... This would also be great for any potential members to really hear what it means to be a Rotarian." The episode is just 23-minutes long, so it is an easy listen or watch.

Jeremy's podcast has several episodes featuring leaders in different fields, covering the many kinds of challenges that come with being in charge. All are worth a listen too.

We fed Mouse at 6:30am ONCE! ONCE! ☝🏻It was Christmas Day and she needed her car sickness meds before the drive to Christmas brunch. This will never justify her screaming at 6am for her breakfast on the regular!

Today was and I got to have dinner with my bestie and Goddaughter. We were busy being in the moment and didn’t take pics, but I saw this beautiful sunset on the drive home. Feeling blessed 🥹 🥰

Wicked fun night out celebrating these two cuties who are about to tie the knot. Our Rotary family and neighbors had a great time together, with yummy snacks, NY farm made beverages , and I even won bingo TWICE! We love love and can’t wait to celebrate with them again next month on the big day.
