We had the privilege of photographing Chef Brandon Benack for his feature in Sophisticated Living Magazine. Known for his artistry with hand-crafted pasta, he now brings that culinary experience directly into clients’ homes. Arriving with a curated collection of traditional tools and a well-worn board, he transforms kitchens into immersive showcases of old-world Italian technique and precision.

Watching him work is magic… and yes, we even tried the pasta. It REALLY is as good as they say. 😄🍝

I’m thrilled to share my recent photos of Ted Kornblum, President & CEO of Magnatone, and the incredible team at their St. Louis facility.

Magnatone amps are legendary—played by artists like Neil Young, Slash, and Billy Gibbons—and what makes them truly special is the craftsmanship. Every amp is hand-wired by skilled technicians who not only bring immense talent but also a genuine pride in their work.

Ted is an amazing person, and it’s been such a privilege to capture both him and the people who carry on this remarkable tradition. As a lifelong music lover, this project has been especially meaningful to me.
