Amazon has faced pressure from investors to tighten its finances as it spends big on the AI race. The company says it will cut 14,000 jobs, citing a goal of "reducing bureaucracy, removing layers."

Former Mental Health Worker Charged with R**e
Towson, MD (October 28, 2025) - Detectives from the Baltimore County Police Department’s Crimes Against Children Unit arrested 35-year-old Michael Cabanalan with second-degree r**e and other s*x offenses, which stemmed from alleged incidents that occurred while the victim was being treated at Sheppard Pratt. Cabanalan, who was employed as a mental health worker, is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center without bond.
