Although April is recognized as Sexual Assault Awareness Month, the conversation around sexual violence cannot be limited to just one month. This is a reality many of us survivors live with every single day. As a survivor, I believe our stories deserve to be told not just for awareness, but for healing, understanding, and real change.

Resources deserve to be amplified. Education must be shared & survivors deserve to be seen, heard, and believed.

Part of raising awareness is also understanding the importance of consent. Consent is not a suggestion but it’s a requirement!

I will continue standing in the gap with other survivors listening, sharing, and creating safe space for truth and healing.

Together, our voices can break the silence and bring light to the darkness!

The holidays can be a tender reminder of those we’ve lost, and navigating the season isn’t always easy. I’ve learned that it’s okay to feel every emotion that comes up and to move through this time at my own pace.

Creating small, meaningful moments or leaning on loved ones has helped me find comfort along the way. If you’re feeling the weight of grief this season, know you’re not alone—and it’s okay to give yourself the grace and space you need💙

🚨New Episode🚨

In this special bonus episode, I open up about the deeply personal experience of losing my father a few months ago. Grief is a journey without a clear path, and in this candid conversation, I share how I’ve been navigating its ups and downs, and how this loss has profoundly changed me.

I also take you deeper into my life, reflecting on the relationship my father and I shared, and the impact it’s had on my healing process.

Whether you’ve lost a loved one or are supporting someone who has, I hope this episode offers some comfort and understanding.

Are you someone that notices the shift in your feelings & emotions as soon as the seasons change? Well let’s talk about it..

Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) is a type of depression that occurs at certain times of the year, most commonly during the fall and winter months when there’s less natural sunlight. SAD disrupt your body’s internal clock (circadian rhythm), leading to symptoms like fatigue, low energy, changes in sleep patterns, and a persistent feeling of sadness or hopelessness.

Some people experiencing SAD may also experience increased cravings for carbohydrates, leading to weight gain, and have difficulty concentrating. Although this time maybe a shift disturber, it is also important to remember that there are things that you can do to manage your symptoms such as:

✨ Maintain a consistent schedule
✨Exercise regularly & maintain a healthy diet
✨Mindfulness & meditation practices
✨Spend time outside
✨Light therapy

It’s important to recognize that SAD is a real condition & should be taken seriously. Remember, it’s okay to feel this way during seasonal changes, and reaching out for help can make a big difference in managing your well-being.

Happy Wednesday, beautiful souls!

Here’s your daily reminder that you matter, and your feelings are always valid. If you’re fighting silent battles or struggling with intrusive thoughts, please know you’re not alone. These tough times won’t last forever.

It’s okay to feel overwhelmed. Take a moment to acknowledge your emotions and give yourself permission to move at your own pace. No matter how hard it feels right now, you’re doing the best you can—and that’s more than enough.

Even in your darkest moments, remember: you’ve overcome hard times before, and you will again!
