Abia State Governor, Dr Alex Otti, has approved payment for the first phase of the medical bills of veteran Nollywood actress Ngozi Nwosu following reports about her ongoing health challenge. The intervention was disclosed by Dr. Justice Okey Martins, the Governor's Senior Special Assistant on Tourism and Entertainment.

According to Dr Martins, Governor Otti's support covers only the first part of the actress's medical expenses, adding that more financial assistance is still required to ensure she receives the treatment she needs. He expressed appreciation to the Governor for the timely intervention.

Dr Martins also appealed to kind-hearted Nigerians to support Ngozi Nwosu in any way they can, stressing that additional donations would go a long way in helping the veteran actress through her health challenge.
