Thompson and I have been chosen to tell faith filled stories. It’s not an arrogant statement, it’s one that I believe to be fact. My life has been a billboard of the results of faith. From being miraculously healed from leukemia to traveling through Europe singing gospel songs because I prayed to go, and even to the 10,000-dollar education award that paid for my first year at The Los Angeles Film
School. I have found that when people declare something to be impossible, I’m one of the ones who are chosen to prove that it meant to say, “I’M POSSIBLE”. My life has not been the easiest, but it has been one that when told people are amazed at how I made it through, and I have used poems and dramatic presentations to share my story of faith. Now I desire to bring back the stories like Touched by An Angel and 7th Heaven. The stories that after you get done watching your heart feels full and you can’t wait to tune in for the next 30 minutes to an hour of inspiration and hope. There are enough preachers behind pulpits teaching from sacred holy texts, and enough writers telling stories of struggle. However, this preacher is on a completely different mission, one I know will be a leap of faith that’s worth taking. I have accepted the call to change the state of our world, one dose of faith filled story at a time.
