RIP Queen

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tina Turner. With her music and her boundless passion for life, she enchanted millions of fans around the world and inspired the stars of tomorrow. Today we say goodbye to a dear friend who leaves us all her greatest work: her music. All our heartfelt compassion goes out to her family. Tina, we will miss you dearly. (© Peter Lindbergh)

NEW in the Poe House Gift Shop: "Legend of the Poe Toaster" Mystery Mugs. The mysterious Poe Toaster has eluded many, but now you can bring the Legend home. Image appears when the mug is filled with hot liquid, then fades away as silently as it came. Use it once upon a midnight dreary (and then again and again) to offer your own toast to Poe.

Tonal Vision is preparing for the next season of our History at Risk web series, focusing on the Broadway Markets in Fell’s Point, Baltimore, MD. Built in the 1780’s, one of the oldest markets in America is currently threatened - only one of the two buildings is still open and the future is uncertain. Season 5 will cover the rise, fall and future of the markets.

We are looking for experts in the history of the markets and locals to interview about the markets. So let us know if you have suggestions or would like to help.
