Being Called Higher!

Hey fam. I had the chance to record with two of Baltimore's heavy weights. First I’m taken back when the timeless voice of Maysa Leak walked in the studio. It didn't get any easier on my nerves when Teddy Douglas stood behind the booth. NO ONE IN THE DMV and very few in the music business can say they produced – Michael Jackson, Lenny Kravitz, Erykah Badu, Rapper T.I., Crystal Waters, Marsha Wash, or Ultra Nate. So I’m sure you feel me when Teddy, the producer of the track, asked me “Can you write a stronger line Marcell?” or “Try the line again. I think you sing it better” I got a tad nervous (but never showed it...I think, lol). Maysa made it look easy but I’m like “Man!”, but at the end of the night we ended up with this. Respect to my big brother Teddy.
