Moors, family friends, and sympathizers:

Today we honor the life, works, and teachings our beloved Prophet Noble Drew Ali.

Born in the state of North Carolina January 8th 1886, Noble Drew Ali was the first on these shores of North America teaching our people the truth about who they are and who our Forefathers were.

By the guiding of God-Allah at the age of 27, The Prophet Noble Drew Ali founded the Moorish Science Temple of America with the intentions of redeeming his people from the name and principles that delude to slavery i.e. negro, black, and colored etc...

The Prophet Noble Drew Ali was also the first bring the Islamic Creed from the East to the Asiatics of America.

"Prophet Noble Drew Ali came teaching "We as a clean and pure nation, descended from the inhabitants of Africa, do not desire to amalgamate or marry into the families of the pale skin nations of Europe. Neither serve the gods of their religion, because our Forefathers are the true and divine founders of the first religious creed for the redemption and salvation of mankind on earth."

Prophet Noble Drew Ali also instructed us that we in fact have a higher self and lower self and that "Allah never made a heaven for man; He never made a hell; we are creators and make our own."

For these reasons and many other reasons Prophet Noble Drew Ali is due higher honor and respect.

Let us honor the life, works, and teachings, of Prophet Noble Drew Ali and all the wonderful works he has brought unto us.
