after three years, i was disappointed to find that no comprehensive recordings of the very first 8static festival have come forth. i had expected that some of the professionals at the event would capture this once-in-a-lifetime experience and preserve it for others to see. however, all is not lost, the Chip Music Chronicle did record the entirety of the festival from the audience with a handheld camera as a backup plan. i've recently unearthed this footage and finding it to be more or less complete, i am compelled to share it with everyone this week before our fourth festival begins. while this isn't the most ideal source, at least we have "the official bootleg" to checkout. big thanks for Ryan & Kira and everyone else that helped man the camera during this event so we had this footage, this was a true community project. the other 2 days will be coming tomorrow and wednesday, respectively.
