The delay of game no call cost my Ravens POINTS! Then to have Collinsworth joke and laugh about it is an insult to injury.
Live stream of the game!
Fight hunger and bid to win Autographed Footballs by Marquise Brown, Drew Brees and DJ Chark! Bid now to support WhyHunger:
I just turned off the game broadcast. I will not support an organization that disrespects the American flag and our national anthem. If this isn't about the flag and the anthem, then why does it occur during the anthem? Have you asked yourselves that?
RACISM is rampant in the United States, why must it be in the NFL!

Dear Mr. Snyder,

Shakespeare in a play once wrote " What's in a name? that which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet".

Names mean many things to many people. A name that you can trust, a name that is important for it describes and represents who we are. Yet, a John Kennedy, a Martin Luther King, a Barack Obama, or a Dan Snyder, did not attain fame due to their names, but only due to the greatness that they possessed.

This why I am writing to you, to let you know that I and others can understand how strongly you feel about the name, but we also understand that what one sees in a name, another may view it totally differently.

To a great grandchild who family fought on the southern side of the Civil War, the Confederate flag may seem very honorable. Yet, for one who family fought and died on the other side, or who descendants were slaves, we must realize that this flag to them does not represent the same thing.

I can understand with you being White and Jewish that the name REDSKIN or the N-WORD is not offensive to you. Many people like you did not see anything wrong with segregation, Jim Crow, or even Slavery because it did not affect them.

What I am trying to say to you is simply this. What a wise Native American once said, you may have known me for many years, but you can never know me unless you have walked a mile in my moccasins. As black people today would say, it is a black thing, you would not understand. The truth is, if you are not Black or Native American, then you do not understand. Cause to understand how I feel or how things upset me, you can only do that if you are me.

As we grow older, we must realize that in time all things change. There was a time when you could call a Black man the N-word and all he could do was to bow down and say Yes Sir! The question that we must sit down and ask ourselves is simply this, is it worth all the controversy and future controversy not to make a change that we all know will someday eventually come.

Do we not already have enough to separate us in this country, questionable police shootings of unarmed Black men, Jewish and Black churches being attacked. People shooting up malls, concerts and even schools due to outright hatred and racism. Shooting people in the streets simply because they do not want them in this country. I am sure just like you who see nothing wrong with your views on this name. They probably see nothing wrong with their actions as well.

Therefore, I ask you to be a trailblazer and instead of condoning this racism, be the one to finally put an end to it. One who set aside his own opinion for the betterment of the team and the NFL. Who decided to change the name not only for the good of all sports, but for the good of all of America?

DICTIONARY.COM-
REDSKIN – [Red-skin] Noun, A disparaging offensive contemptuous term refer to a North American Indian.
N-WORD – Noun, A disparaging offensive contemptuous term used to refer to a black person.

REDSKIN- just like deerskin, rabbit skin, etc. Native Americans were lynched and skin like animals. They hung their bodies up in trees to try to scare Native Americans off their lands. The same way they lynched and cut off Black’s ge****ls to scare them. I hope that you and the fans of this team will agree that it is time to change that name.

In closing my friend, let me just say. Would a rose not smell just as sweet, if it was to be called another name?

Sincerely
Gregory St. James Mundy

🏈Ravens @ #7: LB Isaiah Simmons/Clemson
Any word if we have been looking up Josh Kline? Not sure his asking price, but he played pretty good for the Vikings last year. Surprised he's still available
Ravens fans. Here a short 1 minute clip of Chad Johnson explaining the importance of WR fit for an offense. Please understand that The Ravens run the same type of INSIDE OUTSIDE offense the Patriots and Chiefs.

Last season we saw New England draft N'Keal Harry. A WR many Ravens fans wanted not even considering the role and fit he would be as an outside WR in an INSIDE OUT offense.

If you think the Ravens are using a 1st round pick on your favorite Outside WR you're not paying attention. Jerry Judy or Higgins could fall to 28 and neither would be more productive than a Ruggs, Viska or Reagor type of slot WR who can play outside when needed.
