We are currently broadcasting exclusively online. We are censor free and independently operated.

Calling all vendors!

WMBC’s spring music festival is BACK! Radio Fest will be taking place on April 3rd in the Fine Arts Amphitheater and will features bands, DJs, and vendors. We’re opening up vendor applications to everyone, regardless of affiliation with WMBC or UMBC (so tell your friends)!

If you’re interested in vending at Radio Fest, fill out the form ASAP. The application form will close at midnight on January 1st, but the earlier you apply, the more likely you are to be selected. The link to the form can be found in the linktree in our bio!

do you love music? are you interested in broadcasting and student radio? WMBC, UMBC’s freeform campus radio station, invites you to stop by our open house TOMORROW from 12-2pm! meet some of our management and staff, see our space, and hang out with us :)

if you stop by between from 1-2pm you can even try out broadcasting for yourself! if you can’t make it then, don’t worry - the omonti hour with is from 12-1pm and you can still check out the broadcasting booth while he is on the air as well

calling all UMBC creatives! 🐛🦋

WMBZine is accepting submissions for the next edition! the deadline for submitting writing pitches is december 1st (in approx. 2 weeks!) - if you want to submit writing for the zine, this is your first step. art submissions are being accepted until march 2nd, and competed writing submissions are also due on march 2nd.

submissions are open to UMBC students, faculty, and alumni. we can’t wait to see your beautiful art 🌱🌱

come one, come all! join WMBC and the Student Media Center in celebrating our print media during our PRINT MEDIA SHOW on Wednesday, October 29! joining us will be local bands Alaska’s Angels, revere, Argo and the Violet Queens, and Milk St!

the show will be locating on UMBCs campus in Flat Tuesdays from 5pm-8pm. we hope to see you there!
