I like to keep my neighbors guessing by staging early morning photo shoots in my yard with marshmallows, an assortment of badminton equipment, and a big, floppy hat. Just rearranging dandelions -- nothing to see here 👀.

WHAT'S HAPPENING this weekend? Horses, ghosts, and fun! 👻🐎💃

SATURDAY, May 2: Step into Bangor’s past with Jane's Walk — a series of free, community-led walking conversations. Join Penobscot Theatre Company at the Bangor Opera House at 11:30 a.m. to hear the eerie tales of the three ghosts said to haunt this historic venue. 👀 Plus, check out additional Jane’s Walk events hosted by Emily Burnham and Downtown Bangor throughout the day.

PLUS: The 33rd Annual Pan New England Steel Band Festival begins with a street dance on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. on the waterfront. The Festival continue Sunday from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.

ALSO on Saturday: Head to Bogey’s for a festive Kentucky Derby Party — think mint juleps, big hats, and prizes for best dressed. 🌿🥃

SUNDAY, May 3: Keep the horse theme going as Bangor Harness Racing kicks off its season at Hollywood Casino Hotel & Raceway Bangor at Bass Park.🐴
