It’s summertime, so do you know what that means? Free Summer Concerts at the Jones House! Come on out to the Jones House lawn this evening for some great music! This evening, two amazing bands will be showcased.

Danny Platt, a Boone-based musician, mixes folk music and punk music seamlessly for a unique take on the music we all know and love here in the mountains of North Carolina. Ending the evening, the Loose Roosters will be showcased. Blending Appalachian sensibilities with a modern Americana sound, Loose Roosters have been a hit all throughout the High Country.

So, grab a blanket or lawn chair, pack a picnic, and come enjoy! Remember, you are welcome to drink a beer on the Jones House lawn, however, you can only have your open container on the Jones House property!

App Summer Bookends the Holiday Weekend with a Pair of Family Friendly Concerts!

Family-friendly concert kicks off the holiday weekend. App State’s Hayes School of Music faculty and Cannon Music Camp students team up for a celebratory concert on Thursday, July 3 at 7:30pm in Rosen Concert Hall.

Ranky Tanky and Ms. Lisa Fischer turn up the heat at App Summer. Two sets of Grammy-winning artists perform a stirring blend of jazz, gospel, funk, and soul on Sunday, July 6 at 7:30pm.
