Testing sourdough croissants again!! 🤭🙈
Last Wednesday’s batch went surprisingly well, but I had to be sure it wasn’t just a fluke 🤪🙈
This is only my 2nd time ever making sourdough croissants, and the last time I made any croissant was about 5 yrs ago (let’s just say they looked more like crescent rolls 😅😂)..
Sourdough croissants are humbling.. They’re trickier than regular croissants, taking patience, timing, and a lot of trust in the process—especially when it comes to lamination.. This batch took almost 5 days from start to finish, but seeing those layers unfold, smooth and even, made every fold, rest, and bit of butter handling totally worth it.. 🥹😌💕
I’ll be baking some tomorrow and some again on Wednesday, just to make sure I can really repeat what worked 🙈🤭
Still a work in progress, but I’m so proud of how far my lamination has come!
