So after our previous post brought up a lot of questions, we went on a hunt through our photographic archives, looking at shifter handles. It seems that the Farmall Cub we posted does indeed look like it has been refitted with a Cub Cadet shift lever. This photo shows that extreme bend needed to accommodate the drivers seat.

If you like antique tractor pulling, then you will appreciate this, I'll say purple? Farmall M. Chrome vinyl decals with the fancy script M and a hot rod air filter, plus the required rubber strap to secure the battery.

Farmall H. I'm putting this one in the category of, there was a problem and it got solved. Sometimes, that farmgineering setup is just what it needs. For example, the battery shelf. Other times, it doesn't matter. Such as a missing light or a switch that is no longer needed. Who else is using a 75 year old tractor and follows the repair as needed in order to keep her working theory?
