Traffic Alert: if you do not need to cross the Bay Bridge at this time, don’t. 2 MD State police helicopters landed on the Bridge for a crash with entrapment on the Westbound Span. Heavy delays in both directions.

A severe thunderstorm warning is now in effect for Queen Anne's county, northern Caroline, northern Talbot, western Kent in DE and southern Kent in MD until 2pm. Main hazard is damaging wind gusts and heavy rain.

A line of destructive severe thunderstorms is moving in to the Mid Shore with torrential rain, wind gusts to 80mph and frequent lightning. Take cover.

When severe weather breaks out, we break in:

A severe thunderstorm watch is now in effect for the entire Mid Shore until midnight tonight (5/5/2025). Heavy rainfall, damaging wind and hail are the main threats. We'll be LIVE on air as needed with any warnings that are issued.

A line of severe storms is looking likely tomorrow evening (3/31/25) as a cold front approaches the Mid Shore. The Storm Prediction Center has us highlighted under a slight risk as seen in the yellow shaded area below. Future radar shows the line passing over the Mid Shore around 8p-10p. We'll be on the air LIVE with updates as needed.
