WOKH The Rocket will broadcast the Bethlehem Banshees in their quest for the title of the KY ALL A CLASSIC State Tournament.

Live coverage will begin on 102.7 this Wednesday at about 11 a.m. as the Banshees will face the tough Covington Holy Cross Indians who are 18 wins and only one loss this season---a double overtime loss to Highlands.

The Banshees are 13 and 1 on the year and have the states 3rd leading scorer in Leah Macy…averaging almost 26 points per game. Bethlehem’s only loss on the year was to Simon Kenton in the Queen of the Commonwealth Tournament.

🚨 Snow day and a long weekend for Bardstown Schools ❄️☃️

Due to inclement weather, all BCS schools (preschool through twelfth grade) will use non-traditional instruction (NTI) for tomorrow, January 10. School-age child care will be open. Stay safe, Tigers!

Tomorrow, Wednesday, January 8 will be NTI Day 1 in Marion County. Although the main roads throughout the county are passable, many of the other roads and turnaround spots are still unsafe for our buses. Students will learn from home and teachers will be available to answer questions. Please contact your child’s school if you have questions about NTI assignments.

The Civic Center at 321 South Third Street, Bardstown, will be opened as a warming center. Nelson County Judge Executive Tim Hutchins and Nelson County Emergency Management Director Brad Metcalf discussed the need for the center this afternoon and have decided to open it at 6:00 pm, Sunday, Jan. 5.
