Milling Today and Friday, Aug. 28 on KY 548 in Carlisle County; Paving to Follow Aug. 29 & 31
Daytime closure planned during paving work

PADUCAH, Ky. (Aug. 27, 2026) – A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) is milling today and Friday, Aug. 28 on KY 548 in Carlisle County.

The work zone is along KY 548 between KY 307 and Blinco Road, or mile points 0 to 1.7.

Expect possible lane restrictions during milling operations. Please watch for signs and follow directions from flaggers.

Paving will take place on Saturday, Aug. 29 and Monday, Aug. 31. Due to the narrow roadway, the road will be closed from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day to safely complete the work.

All work is weather-dependent.
