When we talk about ORGANIZING for a client, my priority is to spend sometime understanding what each person needs to access and how they use their everyday items. Determining how much space there is to store the most important things and the best types of storage for them based on preference while considering buget.
DECLUTTERING we begin interviewing the frame of mind one has about letting go of the things in order to downsize and staying in the contraints of the new space. For some there’s no move involved. Clients have accumulated over many years and they may feel a bit overwhelmed. I recommend a fresh set of eyes to help determine what to let loose of! Sorting and purging will take some thought. It will also provoke memories and may even trigger emotion. We believe hiring a professional to patiently take you through the process will provide you with the accountability to stay on task.
