FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
LDEA REISSUES PUBLIC ALERT FOR MOST WANTED SUSPECT IN MURDER OF OFFICER PAYNE
Monrovia, Liberia – September 17, 2025:
The Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency (LDEA) is once again calling on the public to assist in locating Franklin B. Feawoe, also known as “Black Bottle,” who remains at large and is wanted in connection with the brutal murder of LDEA Officer Emmanuel Payne.
Feawoe is considered armed and extremely dangerous. The public is strongly cautioned not to approach him under any circumstances. Instead, anyone with credible information on his whereabouts is urged to contact the LDEA or the nearest police station immediately.
Investigations have linked “Black Bottle” as the ringleader in the calculated and savage killing of Officer Payne, who was reportedly ordered beaten to death by suspected drug dealers, commonly referred to as “Zogos,” on the evening of July 22, 2025, in the Benson Street community, Caldwell. Since the incident, the suspect has evaded arrest and is believed to be actively avoiding capture.
The LDEA stresses that no individual involved in this heinous act will escape justice. The Agency remains committed to ensuring that all perpetrators and accomplices face the full weight of the law.
Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the LDEA hotline immediately. Your assistance is vital. Do not shelter or protect this fugitive.
Justice for Officer Payne will be pursued relentlessly.
