Good Afternoon!
I missed my morning post. Sorry!
Last week I personally slowed things down and my little farm stand kept right on selling, so now I’m getting behind! 😄 I’m one of those folks that would rather work a little each day than be rushed or feel behind and have to play catch up!
Barry and I got up early and picked Muscadines in Milner. The gentleman I got the first round of muscadines gave me more that he and his wife had picked and then invited us to pick our own! So my freezer is over 100 lbs heavier with Muscadines!
I still have about 6 jars of muscadine jam in the farm stand. I will be making more soon!
It is so good! It’s low sugar jam, not jelly. Just enough sweet, but you can still taste the full flavor of fruit!
The rest of our day has been all sorts of little projects; Barry cleaned and put some beekeeping equipment away, he cooked sausage, bacon and biscuits for breakfast this week. Grilled some teres major, air fried some okra and make some field peas for lunch. I worked on bagging Muscadines, emptying the dehydrator and refilling the dehydrator, dishes. Barry worked on securing the new coop to the run so the chickens will all be in the run now and we can let them out to free range each day.
Now we have settled in for the rest of the day to watch movies. I’m working on my “to do” and “project list”. I have a lot of jam to get to making this week and then I have other projects to work on. New products and remaking what has sold out. Supplies to order or make sure I have in stock. So y’all know where I’ll be!
Picture: Dehydrated Cayenne Peppers. I have some plans for these little hot ones! Stay tuned!
Anyway, I hope y’all are having a wonderful day!
