Haven't had an update for you all in a while as I've been busy with other stuff. I have however finally started to rework the turbo setup for the new intercooler. After the previous upgrades of water volume and flow didn't result in measurably better charge temps it was apparent we have outgrown the intercoolers. Upon a little more investigation, I came to thd realization that the new turbos are rated to flow around 250cfm more than the IC's.

With that in mind, I sourced a monster IC that flows 1,000cfm more than the previous 2 combined!! It is absolutely huge and wont fit in the engine compartment, but it does fit pretty well where the heater box used to be 😅. Before anyone asks, yes im going to build a scatter shield around it.

This is preliminary mock up stage, there will be less silicone boots than you're seeing in the pics. Trying to reduce the # of connections to reduce possible leaks and failure points.

The engine is together and had the first test fire today with new heads and new turbos from Air Tech and man do they sound nuts!!! Can't wait to see how this performs.. This was just a quick run up to barely touch 1800 rpm.

Come hang out with us at the Guilty by Association Truck Show in Joplin MO! We'll be there with the Fat Cabs and I'll have the crappy service truck along for display as well. Always a great time down there with PLENTY of trucks to look at and just a great atmosphere.
