We are so incredibly lucky to have Donna in our lives and in our office. Over the years, she has helped tens of thousands of people—not just by saving them money, but by making each person feel truly valued. Donna created our special list to ensure no one ever falls through the cracks, and each year she personally calls our elderly members to make sure they have the resources they need to stay safe and warm through the winter. If you have spoken to someone in our office, it was probably her! Definitely, if she started the sentence "How are you, dear?"

One of the best parts of working for a small family company? Our Town Energy Alliance (OTEA)

You often recognize the voice on the other end of the line.
We truly love all of our members, but there’s something extra special about chatting with the parent of someone you went to school with, catching up on how they’re doing, where life has taken them. Are they still in the same house where you had sleepovers, or did they move somewhere new? Do your old middle or high school friends have kids now, and where did they settle?

It’s little moments like these that remind us how lucky we are to serve the same community we grew up in.

It’s more than just work, it’s a connection to our shared past, and one of the things that makes this job so meaningful. 💛

So Nancy, if you see this, thanks for the lovely chat.
