My preferred method for overcoming an unwanted habit is to focus on what you do want. Stop recovering, start living. Rather than focus on the unwanted thought or behavior, decide what you do want in your life and fo

cus on that. Think about your goals instead of your regrets, do the hobbies you enjoy rather than the conditioned patterns of behavior from the past. You have complete power to change anything about your life that you would like to.

It is time to start acknowledging the new understanding of body and mind and let go of what we used to know that is out of date. It may be difficult if we are deeply attached to our beliefs we were raised on, but its for our own good. Question everything and find the answers for yourself, if you can't do the prrofs yourself then be cautious in which sour es you choose to put your faith in.

When doing QiGong always feel free to adapt any exercises to make it more comfortable, but remember that growth requires challenge. For many years now I have been occasionally incorporating QiGong exercises into my life. Over the last 5 weeks I have made it a daily practice. The benefits are noticeable.

Qi is the life energy within and around us. QiGong is working with that energy to maintain a healthy flow. Modern neuroscience research suggests there is an energy field in and around each of us that constitutes the mind. QiGong restores and maintains a healthy mind.

YouTube is great for finding follow along QiGong routines. I'm going to start sharing the routines I follow every day (as long as I remember to!). Here is the one I followed today, it incorporates explanations throughout and is a wonderful practice to strengthen your heart center.

Please give it a try and see how you feel. In my experience it takes days or weeks of consistent practice to feel it. This will differ from person to person depending on how their energy is flowing or blocked.
