Hoping for that hippo, two front teeth and a Happy Holidays for all this TWO weeks of 22 December 2025 thru 4 January 2026.

- Look for early closures on Wednesday and closed offices on Thu & Fri; 25 & 26 Dec and 1 & 2 Jan 2026.

- Barrington Public Library will be closed on Wed & Thu, 24&25 Dec 2025.

- The school holiday recess begins Wednesday, Dec 24th. They return to classes on Monday, Jan 5th.

- The Transfer Station will be closed on consecutive Thursdays, 25 Dec and 1 Jan.

- New Years Eve Moonlight Hike at SATWaSR, ~50 Tibbetts Rd on Wednesday, 31 Dec at 7pm. We’re hiking, visiting a cemetery and an iced-over beaver pond (as ice depth allows). Bring appropriate outerwear, traction, and a flashlight/headlamp.

Tis the season!! Please make sure that you stay on the nice list for recycling at the Transfer Station this holiday season!! Friendly reminder that wrapping paper cannot be recycled! Please put this in your household trash!

Please plan accordingly, The Transfer Station and Recycling Center will be closed Thursday December 25, 2025 and Thursday January 1,2026.
