From the City of Quincy:
From 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Tuesday, August 25 and Wednesday, August 26, contractors working for the Illinois Department of Transportation will close North 38th Street at Broadway. Closure is due to the traffic signal construction.
To access the Quincy Commons Shopping Center, motorists will need to use the drives west of 38th Street and off North 36th Street. To access Stoney Creek Inn & Freddy’s, motorists will need to use Target’s entrance off Broadway.
Broadway shall remain open to traffic.
Motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists should plan alternate routes and expect increased traffic in the area
during construction hours.
