Welcome to October friends and the start of fall. In this month’s issue, we leave Bartlesville, and the state, and take you to Michigan. November is the 50th anniversary of the sinking of the S.S. Edmund Fitzgerald. Twenty-nine sons, brothers, husbands and fathers were taken by this tragic loss and the ship and men are still 500 ft below the surface of Lake Superior. In tribute of this catastrophic event, Gordon Lightfoot wrote the famous song in 1976 titled “The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald.” If you have never heard the song, I encourage you to listen to it. Magazines will be out this week, so get your copy before they are all gone. God bless, Keith.

Welcome to September friends. We can't believe how fast this year has gone by. Kids are back in school, and were heading into the fall weather! In this months issue, I called onto Jay Hastings to write the feature story on the early Lawmen of Bartlesville and Washington County when it was truly the wild west in the early years. Magazines will be out this week so get your copy before there all gone! God bless.

Our story begins in 1985, when Christy and I became high school sweethearts. After graduation, we took different paths, but eighteen years later, we combined our six kids and had one of our own. Our story is one of love, hope, compassion, and the belief that anything is possible with God.
Our roots run deep in this part of Oklahoma. Christy’s great-grandfather moved to the area in 1904 and my grandparents moved here in 1937. We love this community and think it is “The Greatest Little City in America!” We are proud to have our office in the historic Price Tower overlooking downtown Bartlesville.
Beyond our faith, family and friends, bMonthly is our passion. Our goal each month is to produce the highest-quality city magazine in the state. We welcome advertisers who share our vision to highlight the current, historical, and philanthropic elements that together make this city like no other.
