✨ A Heartfelt Thank You ✨ We are deeply grateful to Rose Hall Event Center, the gracious host of the Helping Hands Gala. Their generosity and commitment to helping others made this event possible. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to come together, celebrate, and advance the work of Helping Hands. We're looking for people to join our team of teaching artists! We've got quite a few classes coming up as well as our yearly summer drama camp.

We're also looking to add even more classes and one day workshops throughout the year for all ages, so we are open if you have a proposal for a class you may like to teach!

Bush Family Genealogy with Norwegian Ancestors
Miles Bush, an active genealogist in Dallas Georgia, will be a featured speaker at the Paulding County Genealogical Society program on Saturday, October 4, 10 a.m. at the Dallas Public Library. Miles will discuss his family tree, including his Norwegian descent.
He grew up in California and was a radio disc jockey who knew the Beach Boys prior to his serving in the US Army during the Vietnam War.
Three of Miles’s nine children live in Paulding County. His Norwegian grandparents settled in South Dakota. Miles had ancestors who fought in the Civil War, some for the Union and some for the Confederacy. His father served in the US Army Air Corps during World War I.
Also speaking at this event is Arild Grebstad, a native of Norway. Arild and his wife Rhina have traveled and worked throughout the world but now reside in the Paulding County area. Arild will discuss his youth and family in Norway as well as Norwegian culture and history.
